She has participated in photographic residencies and has also worked as a director of short films during the Caucasus Cinema residency.
Sharaf sees no contradiction or competition in her work, but rather a transition of energy through her vision. Her language of expression is rooted in her way of observing and being in dialogue with reality. Sharaf's photographic style often includes intentional slight out-of-focus to add depth and texture to her images. This technique, combined with her use of light, color, and digital manipulations helps to create a dreamlike quality in her work.
Sharaf believes that art is the energy that flows through her, and her photography is a way of channeling that energy into something tangible that can be shared with others.
